The information you have provided is really usefull. But what a pitty I am checking this after my recent visit to Kufri- Shimla. I had taken only sweaters without proper hand gloves and good shoes and was almost shivering at kufri with -1 degree and the snowfall. Luckily, I found those rubber boots for hire and only after this I could move further and enjoy my stay at Kufri. I would suggest anyone who visit Shimla or Kufri during February or during heavy snow fall to take warm clothes (Leather jackets, wollen gloves, socks, shoes etc) to enjoy the snowfall.
