Hill Stations in India
This was the trip which i went before Manali.
I went to Nainital 0n September 1st 2006.
I started my journey on a rainy day in delhi.
The below snap shows you my Resort where i stayed in Khurpatal, 10 km to Nainital.

I started in delhi xactly at 11:30 pm
i reached there-Khurpatal, 10 km from Nainital at 8.am
on the way we had only one stoppage at a gas station where we has some early morning breakfast at 4 am i think
Note:
If you are going to Nainital, try to get cushions seats other wise you feel pain in your ass
The roads from delhi to nainital are worst at some places-around 40-50 km i think.
If you are going in a group more than 20 members that 2 in a bus/mega van, you guys definitely cant sleep
as the same we did playing anthyakshari stuff & all.
my sincere suggestion to all of you is to have a good sleep in your journey so that you can utilize the next day by going to
trekking, seeing waterfalls & doing more stuff.
As many of my mates didnt have sleep, playing games all night, have a sound sleep the next day & didnt get a chance to visit the places.
so follow the above rule-not to wake up all the night journey that too if you have a limited time to see the places.
As i already told you, we reached Khurpatal at 8am. received warm welcome on a cool rainy day by the resort people.
Refreshment time for 30 min-every one got our room keys from the reception.
We had our tiffins & then moved out for trekking.
As you can see in the pictures, the resort where we stayed. the trekking place is also very nearby some km distance.
its a place with waterfalls around.
